Ankur Warikoo was brought into the world on August 25, 1980 who is an Internet entrepreneur, motivational speakerand angel investor based in India.

Education of Ankur Warikoo

Ankur finished his tutoring from Don Bosco School, New Delhi, post which he joined Hindu College (BSc, Physics). He went for his Ph.D. in Physics from Michigan State University (MS, Astrophysics), which he dropped out from subsequent to finishing his MS. Post returning from the US, Ankur Warikoo  sought after his MBA in Finance from The Indian School of Business in 2005 until 2006.

Ankur Warikoo is the co-founder and CEO of Nearby and Little App.

Ankur Warikoo began the Groupon India business in April 2011, which is when Groupon entered India through an obtaining. Between 2013-2015 Warikoo dealt with the India, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines markets for Groupon. In August 2015, the India experienced an administration buyout, where the India supervisory group (driven by Ankur) purchased out the dominant part shareholding of Groupon, collaborating with Sequoia Capital.
In Dec 2017, nearbuy.com and Little App merged which was driven by Warikoo, alongside two other prime supporters from nearbuy.com – Snehesh Mitra (co-founder and CTO) and Ravi Shankar (co-founder and COO). Paytm made a key venture to obtain most of the consolidated element.

Before Groupon, Warikoo was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Rocket Internet Gmbh. Warikoo was the Managing Director of the Rocket Internet India Founding Team and set the establishment for Jabong.com, before moving setting up Groupon in India.

Ankur Warikoo was already the co-founder of Accentium Web, which possesses and works a few sites in the Indian Consumer Space, to be specific Second-Shaadi (a marital administration for remarriages), Gaadi.com (a vehicle entry which got later offered to Naspers Group in 2011and was obtained via CarDekho.com in 2015), among others.
